We understand that acquiring a work permit, or Employment Authorization Document (EAD), is a significant step in the immigration process. The EAD gives immigrants the legal right to work in the U.S. for a specific time period, enhancing their ability to create a stable foundation for themselves and their families. Our immigration legal team is highly skilled in handling the necessary paperwork and guiding our clients through each step of the application process, maximizing the chances of approval.
Securing a U.S. work authorization involves multiple stages and strict deadlines that you must adhere to. At Allium Law PLLC, we aim to streamline this process for our clients, ensuring clarity and accuracy at each stage. We assist in establishing eligibility for such benefits, gathering essential documentation, and completing intricate forms with accuracy. Our extensive experience and thorough knowledge of U.S. immigration law empower us to navigate these challenges effectively, helping our clients to obtain their EAD and start their American journey on a solid footing.
TEMPORARY PROTECTED STATUS
Temporary Protected Status (TPS) is a humanitarian immigration status granted by the U.S. government to eligible nationals of designated countries. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security designates a country for TPS due to conditions such as ongoing armed conflict, an environmental disaster, or other extraordinary and temporary conditions. While under TPS, individuals are not removable from the United States, can obtain an employment authorization document (EAD), and may be granted travel authorization.
At Allium Law PLLC, our experienced immigration legal team can help you successfully navigate the complexities of the TPS application process. We assist clients from designated countries in helping them to understand their eligibility, guiding them through the application process, and advocating for them in challenging scenarios. Our goal is to ensure our clients can safely stay in the U.S. and legally work while their home country recovers from disaster or conflict.
EMERGENCY HUMANITARIAN PAROLE
Humanitarian parole is a discretionary authority that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) utilizes to allow foreign nationals to enter the United States on a temporary basis due to urgent humanitarian reasons or if their entry is deemed to significantly benefit public interest. This is an exceptional measure reserved for compelling situations, and the decision for its usage lies solely with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
At Allium Law PLLC, we possess comprehensive knowledge and experience in handling cases involving humanitarian parole. We understand the intricacies of the immigration system and work diligently to assist those who are in dire need of entering the United States for compelling humanitarian reasons. Whether it’s a medical emergency, a family emergency, or a significant public interest issue, our experienced legal team can guide you through the process of applying for humanitarian parole.
OTHER PAROLE PROGRAMS
Here are some other U.S. parole programs that immigration applicants may quality for:
- Parole in Place (PIP): This program is available to certain undocumented family members of U.S. military personnel.
- Deferred Action for Medical Treatment: These requests can be filed directly to the USCIS field office where the client lives and is adjudicated by that office on a case by case basis.
- Parole or Advance Travel Authorization for Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguan and Venezuelan Nationals: This program allows nationals of these countries and their qualifying family members an avenue for requesting advance authorization to travel to the United States for the purposes of obtaining parole.
- Uniting for Ukraine (U4U) Parole: This program allows certain residents of Ukraine displaced by the Russian invasion to apply for parole to the United States.
- International Entrepreneur Rule Parole: This program allows certain entrepreneurs involved in a startup entity with substantial potential for rapid growth and job creation to apply for parole to the United States.
Please note that the status and eligibility requirements for these programs can change frequently, and it’s important to consult with an immigration attorney for the most current and accurate information.
